Description

Smeetz is hiring an AI Product Engineer to own the backend of its two AI surfaces: the Smeetz MCP server and AI chatbot. The role combines 70% backend engineering—building, scaling, and operating production APIs, integrations, agent logic, guardrails, observability, reliability, and evaluation—with 30% product work involving venue operators, technical specifications, success metrics, and documentation. The engineer reports to the VP of Engineering, has no direct reports, and works fully remotely.
