Description
1X is hiring an AI Residency researcher or engineer for a fixed-term 3-6 month position focused on applying research-level AI and robotics ideas to production problems. The resident will work on simulation infrastructure, data management, model evaluation, data-engineering systems, and deployment of capabilities to robots at customer sites. The role requires a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent, Python proficiency, testing experience, familiarity with deep learning frameworks, and the ability to prototype independently; experience with large-scale ML models or top ML conferences is preferred. Compensation is $10,000 per month with health, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) match, paid time off, and holidays.
