VIATEQ is hiring an AI Security Engineer (Mid) to support a federal government client’s enterprise cybersecurity program. The role designs, develops, tests, deploys, and governs AI and machine learning capabilities for threat detection, automated incident response, compliance monitoring, risk assessment, SIEM enhancements, and other cybersecurity operations. The engineer will also maintain model performance, integrate AI tools, support federal AI governance and FISMA activities, and collaborate with security and government stakeholders. The position is primarily based at the client site in Washington, DC, with approved remote or telework locations, and requires a bachelor’s degree, at least four years of IT or cybersecurity experience, and an MBI or higher background investigation.
