Description
SpaceX is hiring an AI Security Software Engineer for its Starshield national-security program. The role designs and builds security-critical agents, uses AI to discover and fix security issues, tests AI integrations, identifies automation opportunities, and improves the security posture of production systems. Candidates need a computer science or STEM degree or two years of security software development experience, programming experience, experience with security solutions for operating systems or distributed systems, and experience with LLMs or LLM-based agents. The position requires a Top Secret security clearance, extended hours and weekends, and U.S. eligibility under ITAR. Compensation ranges from $130,000 to $195,000 depending on level, with medical, vision, dental, retirement, disability, life, paid leave, and other benefits.
