Chicago Trading Company is hiring an AI Software Engineer to build and operate LLM-based agent tooling, coding agents, model harnesses, inference infrastructure, integrations, tracing, access controls, and role-specific interfaces. The role works with engineers, quants, traders, and other users to prototype agents for research, simulation, and trading, improve system reliability, and move ambiguous ideas through production. Candidates should have experience with LLMs and agents, software used by other engineers or end users, and Python, C++, or Java; financial-market or quantitative-research experience is preferred. The role offers a $175,000–$225,000 USD salary, an annual discretionary bonus, and a hybrid workplace model.
