The role focuses on designing, developing, and optimizing AI software and frameworks such as SGLang, implementing distributed machine-learning and deep-learning algorithms, developing neural-network primitives, profiling distributed models, identifying performance bottlenecks, and optimizing code for varied hardware backends. A master's degree or Ph.D. in a relevant field and modern C++ and Python programming skills are required; deep-learning foundations, English fluency, and problem-solving ability are also expected, while PyTorch, SGLang, vLLM, LLM knowledge, kernel development, and performance optimization are advantageous.
