webAI is hiring an AI Software Engineer to build scalable, efficient, and reliable software from machine learning models for production environments. The role focuses on model optimization through pruning, quantization, and distillation; high-performance API deployment; inference-engine development; and collaboration with AI Scientists to convert research code into production-grade software. The position requires 5+ years of software engineering or equivalent university experience, expertise in ML systems and distributed computing, proficiency in C++/Python, Docker/Kubernetes, vector databases, and CI/CD for machine learning, and a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or software engineering.
