Description
Data Intellect is hiring an AI specialist engineer to design and build production-ready agentic AI systems for Tier 1 banks and hedge funds, including LLM-backed agents, tool use, retrieval, orchestration, evaluation, and guardrails. The role involves working with both cloud model APIs and locally hosted/on-premises models in regulated environments, collaborating directly with client engineers and stakeholders, and using AI-assisted development tools as part of daily work. Candidates should have demonstrable experience building AI agents, strong software engineering fundamentals, and excellent communication skills; financial services or other regulated data-heavy domain experience, MCP server development, and experience with databases such as kdb+/KDB-X, ClickHouse, or Oracle are desirable.
