Mindlance is hiring a Mid-Level AI Software Test Engineer in Ann Arbor, Michigan, for an initial six-month 100% onsite period followed by a hybrid arrangement of four onsite days and one remote day per week. The role combines software quality engineering with AI validation, including testing AI models, agents, copilots, RAG systems, MCP integrations, APIs, and workflows; building automated test frameworks and evaluation pipelines; integrating testing into CI/CD; and validating safety, reliability, performance, and governance controls. Candidates need a bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 3–6 years of software testing, QA automation, or quality engineering experience, with Python, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, C#, API testing, and distributed-systems experience required; AI-specific testing experience is preferred.
