Description
The Air Force Cyber Assessment Team (AFCAT) Cyber Assessment Specialist conducts Cyber Operational Readiness Assessments (CORA) and Cyber Operational Risk Assessments (CORA) at Air Force locations worldwide. The role evaluates endpoint security, network vulnerabilities, insider threats, and other cyber risks; coordinates with base leadership and assessment teams; troubleshoots ACAS scans; briefs Air Force leadership; trains personnel; and supports assessment planning and travel. It requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent or five years of related experience, an active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility, a US passport, and specified IAM II certifications, with travel expected for six to seven weeks per year.
