Description
The Air Import Agent ensures timely and accurate movement of air freight and information while providing customer service. Responsibilities include managing freight processes, entering data, tracking and tracing import files, coordinating shipments and customs documents, billing customers and service providers, communicating with customers and overseas parties, maintaining supplier relationships, meeting compliance and KPI standards, and improving operational efficiency. The role reports to an Air Import Lead Agent, Supervisor, or Manager and requires related experience or equivalent education and experience, strong communication and organizational skills, computer proficiency, fluent English, and preferably IATA certification and air-documentation knowledge.
