Description
The role is an air traffic controller responsible for safely managing and controlling air traffic within the United Arab Emirates Flight Information Region (UAE FIR), including traffic flow management, pilot communications, coordination with external agencies, incident reporting, emergency handling, and adherence to GCAA, ICAO, UAE AIP, and local ATS requirements. The position also supports ATC system testing, airspace and procedure development, trainee ATCO training, reporting, and ongoing competency examinations. Applicants must hold a valid area and/or approach radar control license accepted by the GCAA, a valid ATC medical certificate, and ICAO English Language Proficiency Level 4 or above.
