Description

SHAPE is recruiting a temporary NATO-cleared Air Command and Control (AIRC2) operational assessment specialist to support the selection, acquisition, testing, verification, and operational acceptance of future Integrated Air and Missile Defence (IAMD) capabilities within the enhanced AIRC2 programme. The role supports the Independent Programme Office and coordinates trials, testing events, user and operational acceptance testing, exercises, technical and operational criteria, reports, and industry and NATO stakeholder engagement. The contract is temporary, starts as soon as possible, ends 31 December 2026, and may last up to six months with possible extension.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Higher secondary education with intermediate vocational training and 2 years of related experience, or secondary education with advanced vocational training/professional qualification and 4 years of related experience.
Required Previous Experiences: Experience conducting operational trials and testing events for Air C2 systems or software
Experience addressing IAMD issues at NCS/NFS level
Experience or comprehensive knowledge of NATO operational assessment and acceptance procedures
Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of NATO IAMD policy, capabilities, AirC2 concepts of operations, doctrines, and tactics
Understanding of NATINAMDS organization and capabilities
Previous NATO command or headquarters staff experience
Strong written, oral communication, analytical, judgment, prioritization, and teamwork skills
