The Aircraft Electrical Design Engineer creates electrical design solutions for aircraft interiors, including wire routing, harnesses, equipment installations, drawing lists, material selection, and installation documentation. The role ensures designs meet customer, quality, FAA, budget, and schedule requirements; supports certification and build issues; and coordinates with mechanical, stress, manufacturing, and certification teams. It requires a bachelor's degree in aerospace or electrical engineering or an equivalent combination, at least five years of relevant experience, and proficiency with AutoCAD and/or Inventor. The expected Washington salary range is $90,000 to $124,000 USD, with medical, dental, vision, life insurance, paid time off, and a 401(k) match.
