Description
The Aerospace Engineer role plans, coordinates, and performs engineering assignments for aircraft, engines, systems, components, and field or shop equipment. Responsibilities include analyzing operating problems, developing solutions, evaluating modifications, recommending parts and components, analyzing reparability, reviewing equipment proposals, and preparing technical data, procedures, reports, drawings, manuals, and publications. The position requires professional technical writing experience in aerospace, defense, or a similarly regulated industry, familiarity with systems engineering and schematics, and the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret or higher clearance. F-35 maintenance experience, SGML/XML authoring, aircraft component and flight-control work, and a related bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience are preferred or listed as desired qualifications. The full-time salary range is $70,500 to $130,900, with medical, dental, vision, flexible work arrangements, retirement matching, paid time off, and other benefits.
