Description
Sutherland is hiring a Python Data Engineer to build and orchestrate scalable ETL/ELT workflows across Python, Apache Airflow, AWS, and Snowflake. The role includes developing DAGs, custom operators, sensors, and hooks; automating data ingestion, transformation, and scheduling; writing and optimizing SQL; implementing Snowflake ELT solutions; troubleshooting production pipelines; and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Candidates need 2–4 years of Python development experience, at least 1 year with Apache Airflow, AWS or equivalent cloud experience, strong SQL skills, ETL/ELT workflow experience, and a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
