Description
Astro Mechanica is hiring an Airframe Manufacturing Manager to lead the development and production of its supersonic aircraft. The role will build the airframe manufacturing function from the ground up, translate engineering designs into manufacturing plans, oversee composite and metallic airframe processes, lead technicians and fabricators, coordinate assembly and rework, and establish quality and process documentation. The position requires at least 10 years of experience in high-mix, low-volume composite manufacturing, prototyping, or airframe fabrication, with a strong hands-on presence on the shop floor and a preference for aerospace or defense experience. The role is primarily in-office, with flexible work arrangements.
