Description
The Core/Mold Maker is responsible for safely producing cores, copes, and drags using patterns and established procedures. The role involves assembling chills, locators, vents, risers, and other molding materials; packing with sand; seasoning and turning out products; scanning and reporting quantities; maintaining a clean and safe work area; inspecting materials; maintaining equipment; managing inventory; and reporting problems. The position requires standing 100% of the time, lifting up to 50 pounds, and pushing or pulling up to 100 pounds, with on-the-job training until certification is achieved.
