Description
The FAA Technical Operations, Anchorage District is hiring a permanent Airway Transportation Systems Specialist (Coordinator) for Glacier SSC, with the duty location in Juneau, Alaska. The role serves as the technical expert and SSC coordinator for complex aviation navigation and electronics systems, integrating, testing, restoring, evaluating, and managing systems and projects; leading technical work and teams; resolving certification and operational issues; and providing guidance to FAA employees, contractors, and other organizations. The position requires U.S. citizenship, specialized experience with automated aviation, navigation, and electronics systems, narrative responses for each Demonstrated Ability, and may require travel and a security investigation.
