Description
The FAA is hiring an Airway Transportation Systems Specialist (ATSS) at the Technician-in-Depth (TID) or Communication TELCO Technician-in-Depth (TID) level. The role supports the National Airspace System by integrating, restoring, testing, evaluating, maintaining, modifying, and certifying complex aviation communication, navigation, and electronics systems; resolving technical problems; coordinating projects and systems acceptance; and providing guidance, training, and mentoring. The position requires US citizenship, a valid driver's license, specialized experience with relevant aviation communication or weather systems, and completion of required application and verification documents.
