Description
The Exploration Company is hiring a Mechanical Technician – Thermal Protection System to support the manufacturing, integration, inspection, qualification, and production of the Thermal Protection System for its Nyx capsule. The role involves assembling TPS hardware, performing bonding, painting, dimensional and visual inspections, supporting non-destructive inspection, maintaining tooling and manufacturing records, troubleshooting anomalies, and ensuring compliance with aerospace quality and safety procedures. Candidates need a mechanical or electromechanical technician or bachelor-level qualification, at least three years of welding experience, knowledge of ESA and NASA standards, and experience with composite materials, adhesive dispensing, cleanroom environments, metrology, or NDI.
