KLA is hiring an Optical Metrology Algorithm Researcher to develop and implement algorithms for optical metrology of semiconductor devices. The role covers measurement sequence design, measurement-condition optimization, tool calibration, signal and image processing, numerical computation, machine learning, algorithm research, feasibility studies, qualification testing, and on-tool implementation. Candidates need a master's or PhD in a relevant field, experience in signal or image processing, and experience developing algorithms in MATLAB or Python; experience with optical systems, microscopy, or the semiconductor industry is advantageous.
