ThetaRay is hiring an Algorithm Researcher to develop and deploy advanced algorithms for financial crime detection. The role involves translating mathematical models into scalable production systems, building and optimizing machine learning and large language model solutions, working with transformers and generative AI technologies, improving model accuracy and explainability, and collaborating with engineers and domain experts. Candidates need an MSc or PhD in a relevant quantitative field, at least three years of algorithm development or advanced AI/ML experience, strong mathematical and programming skills, and production experience with AI systems.
