Description

Alpha Data Services is hiring an AVP to support EDM implementation and data operations for trading, risk, compliance, and client reporting. The role manages data availability, implementation documentation, data mappings, SQL-based transformation and validation, dashboards, testing, and stakeholder coordination across State Street and Charles River. It requires experience with order management systems, financial instruments, data governance, and data analysis or management in asset management or financial services, along with SQL, Python, or R experience. The position pays $90,000–$157,500 annually and includes medical, dental, and vision coverage.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
Required Previous Experiences: Experience working with order management systems, including AIM, Charles River, or Alladin
Experience in data analysis or data management within asset management or financial services
Experience with data management platforms and market data providers such as Bloomberg or Refinitiv
Experience across the full data science project lifecycle
Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of data governance frameworks and regulatory requirements such as MiFID II and ESG reporting
Strong understanding of financial instruments, including equities, fixed income, and derivatives
