Description
State Street is seeking an experienced Defect Test Manager to lead defect governance across complex Alpha implementations. The role owns the end-to-end defect lifecycle, including identification, validation, prioritisation, remediation, retesting, closure, and audit evidence; chairs defect triage and review forums; maintains defect backlogs and quality metrics; coordinates business, testing, product, development, infrastructure, data and vendor teams; leads escalations and root-cause analysis; and drives continuous improvement in defect governance across global, multi-vendor and multi-location teams. The position requires substantial experience in software testing, quality assurance or implementation delivery within financial services or complex technology environments, along with advanced Jira knowledge and leadership of distributed stakeholders.
