Description
The Alteration Support Professional supports Bloomingdale’s store operations by sewing garments, performing basic to advanced alterations on sleeves, backs, sides, collars, and bodices, making minor repairs, replacing buttons, and delivering quality work on time. The role also involves presenting a positive attitude, explaining alteration services, responding to customer inquiries, and working a flexible retail schedule. A high school diploma or equivalent and 1–2 years of direct experience are required, along with strong communication, adaptability, teamwork, and the ability to stand, walk, lift up to 25 pounds, and use computers and handheld electronic equipment.
