Description
The Alteration Support Professional supports Bloomingdale’s store operations by sewing garments, performing basic to advanced alterations on sleeves, backs, sides, collars, and bodices, making minor repairs, replacing buttons, and delivering quality work on time. The role also involves explaining alteration services to customers, maintaining a positive customer attitude, and working flexible retail hours. A high school diploma or equivalent and 1–2 years of direct experience are required, along with strong communication, adaptability, teamwork, and the ability to stand, walk, lift up to 25 pounds, and use computers and handheld electronic equipment.
