Description
Cushing Terrell is hiring an in-person Alternative Energy Intern to support solar photovoltaic and utility-scale Battery Energy Storage System projects. The intern will assist with energy generation analyses, system sizing, electrical load calculations, drafting and design documents, renewable energy codes, and multidisciplinary construction documents, while collaborating with civil and electrical engineering teams and attending site visits. The role requires completion of a three- or more-year engineering, energy, or related undergraduate program, basic AutoCAD knowledge, and strong communication and problem-solving skills; PVSyst, HOMER Grid/Pro, electrical load calculations, renewable energy codes, and civil engineering plans are preferred. The expected wage is $21.00 to $26.00 per hour, with an annual performance bonus, and applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
