Description

The Ada County Sheriff's Office Alternative Sentencing team is hiring an Alternative Sentencing Technician to welcome participants, guide enrollment, coordinate appointments, process court commitments and legal documentation, maintain confidential records, process program fees, connect participants with resources, and serve as a liaison among courts, law enforcement, community partners, and the public. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver's license, and typing ability of at least 40 words per minute; prior corrections or legal experience is helpful but not required. The position is primarily office-based, generally Monday through Friday on the day shift, and includes paid training, benefits, and a starting pay rate of $19.60.
