Chicago Public Media is hiring a full-time, permanent AM Editor to lead daily news coverage across broadcast, digital, podcasts, and print. The role plans assignments, directs reporters and producers, edits audio and occasional text stories, reports for audio, web, and print, reviews pitches, develops editorial training, and helps manage coverage priorities. Candidates need at least four years of editor experience, strong news judgment, writing and multiplatform journalism skills, and a bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, humanities, or a related field. The expected annual pay is $90,168 to $100,000, with medical, dental, vision, and other benefits.
