Description

Meesho is seeking a founding Risk Analytics professional to own risk analytics for its User Lending portfolio, including BNPL and Personal Loans. The role will analyze platform, bureau, SMS, and alternative data; develop scorecards, models, and risk rules; diagnose portfolio risks; monitor credit metrics; evaluate credit policies; and partner with Business, Product, Data Science, and other teams. The position requires digital-lending risk experience, SQL, Python, data-mining tools, credit-risk modelling, and a relevant degree.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: MBA, Engineering, or Master's degree in Statistics, Data Science, or a related quantitative field
Required Previous Experiences: Relevant experience in Credit Risk, Risk Analytics, Credit Risk Policy, or Decision Science, preferably within digital lending
Hands-on experience managing or analyzing portfolios in BNPL, Personal Loans, or other unsecured digital lending businesses
Strong working knowledge of SQL and experience with data-mining tools or databases
Hands-on experience with Python, data wrangling, scorecard development, and risk-rule implementation
Experience working in a fast-paced, high-ownership environment with ambiguity
Preferred Qualifications: Experience within digital lending
Ability to use AI tools effectively in day-to-day work and problem-solving
