AWS is hiring an Amazon Field Engineer to support critical infrastructure in AWS data centers across the building lifecycle, from design and construction reviews through upgrades, maintenance, and operational troubleshooting. The role leads post-event controls incident analysis, root-cause investigations, corrective actions, engineering audits, technical escalations, legacy controls pilots, and the development of controls logic, code templates, baselines, standards, and system-health metrics. The position requires at least two years of controls experience, a relevant bachelor’s degree or equivalent technical experience, and a valid US driver’s license with reliable transportation. The listed work location is Herndon, Virginia, with a base salary of $96,600 to $160,000 annually.
