Amazon Robotics is hiring a Mechanical Engineer to develop and improve hardware for emerging robotic systems. The role covers product design from concept through production, prototyping, validation, testing, requirements and functional specifications, design verification, cross-functional collaboration, and automation experiments. Candidates need at least four years of mechanical engineering or equivalent experience, prototyping and implementation experience, SolidWorks or similar CAD skills, and knowledge of mechanical engineering principles. The position is based in North Reading or Westboro, Massachusetts, with a base salary of $117,300 to $160,000 annually.
