Description
Hato Hone St John is recruiting Ambulance & Events Volunteers to provide patient care and support at community events and on an ambulance. The role may involve responding to 111 calls, treating patients on scene, referring them to other health-care providers, or transporting them to medical facilities. Volunteers receive NZQA-recognised training and are expected to complete approximately two 12-hour shifts and one training session per month. Applicants must be at least 18, hold a full and clean New Zealand driver’s licence for at least 12 months or complete an approved NZTA advanced driving course, have New Zealand citizenship or permanent residency, hold a clean police record, and pass physical, health, literacy, numeracy, and interview assessments.
