Description
The Ambulatory Surgery Center Registered Nurse—Operating Room provides professional perioperative nursing care for surgical patients in an ambulatory surgery setting. The role performs both circulating and scrub duties, including assisting with anesthesia induction, maintaining sterile technique, preparing instruments, passing instruments, completing intraoperative records, managing specimens and counts, checking equipment and emergency supplies, and supporting patient safety and customer service. The position requires graduation from an accredited nursing school, an Illinois Registered Nurse license, CPR certification within 30 days, and ACLS certification within six months; three to five years of comparable nursing experience is preferred.
