Description
The Ambulatory Surgery Center Registered Nurse–Operating Room provides professional nursing care to surgical patients in an ambulatory operating-room setting, performing circulating and scrub duties, supporting anesthesia induction, maintaining sterile technique, managing instruments, supplies, specimens, medications, equipment, and safety checks, and transferring patients to recovery. The role requires graduation from an accredited nursing school, Illinois Registered Nurse licensure, CPR certification within 30 days, ACLS certification within six months, and preferably three to five years of comparable nursing experience. The position involves exposure to blood and body fluids and occasional heavy lifting.
