Description
Solano Community College is hiring a part-time American Sign Language instructor to teach courses across the ASL curriculum in lecture-discussion, evening, Saturday, online, or hybrid formats during Spring, Summer, and/or Fall terms. The role includes preparing and grading assignments and examinations, meeting administrative timelines, maintaining student records, and teaching students from diverse backgrounds. Candidates must have a bachelor's degree or higher with two years of professional experience, or an associate's degree with six years of professional experience, or an equivalent qualification. Preferred qualifications include an ASL teaching credential, a master's or bachelor's degree in American Sign Language, Deaf Studies, or a related discipline, and relevant teaching experience.
