SailFuture is hiring an AmeriCorps Construction Apprentice to work hands-on on residential renovations, new construction, property improvements, and maintenance projects in Saint Petersburg, Florida. The role provides training in framing, carpentry, drywall, painting, flooring, plumbing, electrical assistance, roofing, tool operation, safety, blueprint reading, and project planning, while requiring assistance with demolition, material handling, job-site safety, and teamwork. Applicants must meet AmeriCorps eligibility requirements, including U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent residency, be at least 17 at the start of service, have a high school diploma or equivalent, and hold a valid driver's license.
