SailFuture is hiring an AmeriCorps Culinary Apprentice to work in a commercial kitchen supporting approximately 600 daily school lunches, baked goods, and catering events. The role includes food preparation, baking, kitchen sanitation, inventory management, equipment operation, customer service, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment. Applicants must meet AmeriCorps eligibility requirements, including United States citizenship or lawful permanent residency, be at least 17 years old at the start of service, and have a high school diploma or equivalent. The position offers an annual compensation value of $52,805, including a living allowance, health insurance, room and board, a 401(k) contribution, education award eligibility, and recreational memberships.
