SailFuture is hiring an AmeriCorps Transportation Specialist to drive school buses and safely transport students to and from school on active school days. The role includes checking uniforms and materials, maintaining a safe and orderly environment, performing vehicle inspections, reporting incidents, and building positive relationships with students. The position requires a valid driver's license with a clean driving record, effective time management, communication skills, attention to safety protocols, and the ability to pass a background check; a CDL endorsement or willingness to obtain one is preferred, along with prior experience working with teenagers.
