ESMC is hiring an AMHS Software Automation Engineer to optimize and control its Automated Material Handling System for semiconductor production in Dresden, Germany. The role involves system tuning, KPI monitoring, integration with production and higher-level control systems, automation of manual loading, cross-site project leadership, team mentoring, software validation, upgrades, retrofits, and new fab installations. Candidates need a master’s degree in a relevant engineering or computer science field, semiconductor-industry experience, proficiency in optimization algorithms and programming languages such as C#, Java, Python, SQL, Oracle, MS-SQL, and VBA, and knowledge of FMEA, SPC, and 8D. The position offers on-the-job training in Taiwan for 9 to 12 months and requires fluent English; Mandarin or German is a plus.
