Description
ABB is hiring an AMR Layout Design Engineer to design and deploy autonomous mobile robot systems at customer facilities, validate safety and standards compliance, troubleshoot technical issues, collaborate with engineering disciplines, and present solutions to customers. The role is on-site in Auburn Hills, Michigan, requires at least one year of relevant engineering or robotics experience, and includes up to 60% mainly domestic travel. A bachelor of science in engineering is preferred, along with AutoCAD or similar 2D drawing software, SICK safety components, scan field design, field commissioning, and customer communication experience.
