Synopsys is hiring a remote Analog Design, Sr Staff Engineer in Porto, Portugal, to lead the design and development of medium- to large-complexity analog circuits for high-speed SerDes products supporting Ethernet and PCIe standards. The role includes guiding analog designers, defining project execution methods, conducting design reviews, optimizing performance, power, and area, evaluating parasitic effects, ensuring silicon correlation with simulation, and mentoring junior engineers. Candidates need an M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering with at least 8 years of experience or a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering with at least 6 years of experience, along with CMOS analog design, EDA, UNIX, and SerDes knowledge.
