Black Semiconductor is seeking an Analog / RF / High-Speed IC Design Engineer to design, simulate, validate, and debug broadband analog, RF, and high-speed mixed-signal integrated-circuit blocks for graphene photonic devices and next-generation communication and computing systems. The role spans concept through silicon bring-up, including circuit design, AC and transient analysis, PVT and Monte Carlo verification, post-layout validation, laboratory characterization, and cross-functional collaboration with system, device, packaging, and product teams. Candidates should have a PhD in IC design or a related field, ideally with two to three years of postdoctoral experience, along with strong analog, RF, high-speed, CMOS, FinFET, and photonic-circuit knowledge and experience with Cadence, Spectre, Python, RF simulation tools, and laboratory debugging.
