Preqin is hiring a Research Analyst to develop company-level intelligence in private markets, including M&A activity, ownership structures, deal events, and investment relationships. The role combines secondary research, complex deal and ownership analysis, company expansion, AI-assisted research workflows, data quality and validation, and collaboration with Data, Product, and Engineering teams. Candidates need a postgraduate degree or BTech with an excellent academic record, at least 18 months of relevant experience, strong research and data-interpretation skills, and familiarity with Excel, Office 365, SharePoint, and preferably SQL or Python. The position follows BlackRock’s hybrid model, requiring employees to work at least four days in the office per week.
