United Airlines’ Flight Operations Performance & Analytics team is hiring an Analytics Scientist to apply advanced analytics, machine learning, artificial intelligence, and statistical modeling to improve flight operations. The role develops predictive models, dashboards, automated decision-support solutions, and AI use cases; analyzes large datasets; partners with business stakeholders; and translates operational challenges into actionable recommendations. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field, at least three years of modeling or machine learning experience, strong R or Python knowledge, database querying skills, and experience with analytics visualization tools.
