Description
Wabtec is hiring a Senior Analyst – Direct Sourcing (Commodity Operations) in Bangalore, India, to support global sourcing initiatives across machined and engineered components, rubber, plastics, sealing products, and fabricated and fluid-handling components. The role manages RFQ/RFP execution, supplier engagement, commercial and quote analysis, savings validation, inflation mitigation, PPAP tracking, sourcing governance, dashboards, KPI reporting, supplier performance analysis, and reporting automation. Candidates need a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, supply chain, or a related discipline, 3–5 years of direct sourcing or commodity management experience, mechanical-commodity manufacturing experience, and strong analytical and Excel skills; Power BI, global sourcing, supplier negotiations, and ERP experience are preferred. The role supports EU time-zone hours from 11:00 AM IST to 8:00 PM IST.
