Flexsys is hiring an Analytical Chemist at its Akron corporate headquarters to support business and innovation platforms. The role involves solving technical problems with analytical technology, developing laboratory capabilities, providing analytical data for new products and process development, characterizing organic molecules, operating and troubleshooting instrumentation, and writing test methods and technical reports. The position requires a PhD in analytical chemistry, physical chemistry, or a similar discipline, 0–5 years of post-PhD experience, organic-molecule analysis experience, and hands-on experience with chromatography, absorption spectroscopy, and mass spectrometry.
