Description

Dandelion Health is hiring an Analytics Engineer to build, maintain, and optimize ELT data transformation pipelines for clinical and electronic health record data. The role owns data models, harmonizes multimodal health-system data, enforces quality and testing standards, supports de-identification and ETL, and collaborates with technical and clinical experts to deliver analysis-ready datasets for AI development. The position reports to the Data Science Manager under the Chief Data Officer, offers remote work with occasional quarterly travel, and includes healthcare, dental, and vision benefits.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field, such as Data Science, Biomedical Informatics, Computer Science, or Biostatistics
Required Previous Experiences: 3+ years of analytics or data engineering experience cleaning and structuring clinical and electronic health record data
1+ years of experience extracting, curating, and analyzing healthcare information technology data
Preferred Qualifications: Experience integrating LLM tools and RAG or agent workflows into data pipelines
Python proficiency for data cleaning and model feature engineering
Experience with AI/ML modeling teams and cloud model deployments
Familiarity with electronic medical record systems
Medical ontology experience
DICOM or imaging modality experience
OMOP common data model experience
Agile tools such as Jira or Linear
dbt Cloud familiarity
