AITAN is hiring an Android Application Engineer to own the Android control application used by operators to command autonomous drone fleets in real time. The role covers application architecture, development, performance, reliability, real-time telemetry and video UIs, operator workflows, UDP/TCP and WebSocket data streams, offline and reconnection logic, and collaboration with backend and integration engineers. Candidates need at least three years of professional Android development in Kotlin or Java, along with experience in real-time data rendering, networking, performance profiling, and on-device debugging. The position is based in the New York metropolitan area and offers health, dental, and vision insurance plus a base salary of $180,000–$220,000.
